GOP says no to healthcare AND maternity coverage

Here we go ...

From today's paper and I paraphrase: After voting for a repeal of the health care law the GOP signed on to a new bill to permit interstate sales of health insurance, with a goal of lowering premiums by avoiding the requirements to cover certain services such as maternity care, cancer screenings, and mastectomies.

Later in the same article: At the same time, GOP lawmakers introduced introduced new legislation to place more restrictions on federal funding for abortion services, including a new ban that would make insurance plans that cover abortions ineligible for standard tax exemptions. Speaker of the House John Boehner called the bill "one of our highest legislative priorities."

So let me get this straight, Boehner wants more restriction on abortions and supports a law that will result in not providing maternity coverage to those who can afford health insurance.

I don't use this acronym very often here but WTF?
