Do the Math?

During one of his too-infrequent press conferences Bush said that Social Security will not be able to meet its obligations in 13 years and will be bankrupt in 42 years. His quote was “Do the math.” Well, apparently he must have recently completed a remedial course himself, otherwise he would have “done the math” three years ago and diverted the $1.2 trillion tax break for the rich into the Social Security fund.

His plan to “save” Social Security is a pure and simple reward to yet another rich segment of our society, Wall Street. Wake up America!
