Here we go again

The Texas legislature is about to introduce an amendment that would drain billions of dollars from public schools to subsidize tuition at private and religious schools across the state. The proposed amendment to important fiscal legislation in the Texas House of Representatives would allow the state to give "Taxpayer Savings" grants – vouchers – to families that send their children to private or religious schools. The money would come directly from tax dollars originally intended for public education – even if recipients of these vouchers had never set foot in a public school.

So while we have a budget crisis here, one that will result in the reduction of funding to public schools, they are going to try to push through more giveaways to the rich and take even more from our public schools?

There are no accurate words to describe the people who are doing this.
